- As the Ballarat Parish Mission, the congregation of Ballarat Central and UnitingCare Ballarat share in the mission of God.
Worshipping God, whom we know in Jesus Christ
- Before all else, we are called to worship God whom we know in Jesus Christ.
- We gather in many different ways to do so, celebrating our diversity, and enabling a variety of forms of expression and participation.
Nurturing one another in faith,
- As a pilgrim people on the way together, we seek to grow in faith, listening to and encouraging one another in love while creating a variety of opportunities for people to explore, question and deepen their understanding and faith.
That we might embody God’s love for all people
- We respond to the call to love all people in the knowledge that loving each other can transform lives and relationships and become a sign of hope and grace for the world.
- We witness and serve through congregational engagement with the needs of the wider community and the UnitingCare provision of community services to confront poverty and injustice, empowering people to live life with dignity.
